Watch multiple YouTube videos side by side, browse several websites at once, or keep a reference page open while a video plays — all inside a single resizable split-screen layout.
Split Pages is a dual-panel viewer that lets you display any combination of YouTube videos and websites simultaneously. The screen is divided into two resizable areas: a side panel showing a scrollable list of page thumbnails, and a large main panel that plays or renders your currently selected page in full detail.
Whether you want to watch multiple YouTube videos at once, compare two websites, or follow a tutorial video while keeping documentation open beside it, Split Pages turns your browser into a true split-screen multi-tab viewer. Your entire configuration — every URL and video — is saved as a named favorite so you can reopen your exact layout with one tap.
The divider between the two panels is fully draggable — slide it to give more space to the list or to the main viewer depending on your preference. On mobile devices the layout automatically switches to a top-and-bottom stacked view for comfortable portrait browsing.
Select an existing saved Split Pages favorite from your list, or create a new one and give it a name to identify your layout.
Tap the edit button in the main panel to paste a YouTube link or any website URL. This becomes the primary view that loads at full size.
Use the add ( + ) button in the side panel to add more YouTube videos or website URLs. They appear as smaller previews in the scrollable list.
Tap any preview in the side panel to instantly load it in the main view. Your list items remain visible so you can switch between videos and pages with one click.
Embed and play any YouTube video directly inside the viewer. Previews load in the side list while the selected video plays with full audio in the main panel.
Load any website or web app side by side using embedded iframes — no new tabs needed. Compare pages, follow docs, or monitor dashboards simultaneously.
Drag the center divider to adjust how much screen space each panel gets. Give your main video more room or widen the list panel to see more previews.
Save your entire page and video collection as a named favorite. Reopen any saved layout instantly — your URLs, videos, and order are all remembered.
On phones and tablets in portrait mode the layout stacks vertically — main view on top, page list below — for comfortable one-handed browsing.
Pop any page out of the split view into a full browser tab with the open button — useful for sharing links or reading content without the split layout.
Queue up a series of YouTube videos in the side panel. When one finishes, click the next in the list — perfect for watching multiple videos without switching tabs.
Play a coding or design tutorial in the main panel while keeping the official documentation or reference site open in the list for quick look-ups.
Load several live web dashboards, analytics pages, or monitoring tools into the list and flip between them instantly without juggling browser tabs.
Watch a live YouTube stream in the main panel while browsing related content, live chats, or commentary sites in the list panel.
Keep a lecture video or educational YouTube channel running while you browse articles, note-taking apps, or course materials side by side.
Watch a foreign-language YouTube video in the main panel while browsing a translation tool or vocabulary site in the list — immersive and hands-free.
When you add a YouTube video URL, Split Pages automatically extracts the video ID and loads it using the official YouTube IFrame Player API. Playback starts at the saved position (playhead), and sound is enabled only for the main panel — keeping side-list previews muted so multiple videos do not play audio at the same time.
Switching to a different video in the list immediately loads the new video in the main panel with no page reload — the transition is instant. The YouTube player supports all standard controls: play, pause, seek, volume, quality, and full-screen.
Non-YouTube URLs are displayed using an HTML iframe embedded securely inside the viewer. The URL is sanitized before rendering to prevent unsafe content. Most modern websites including news sites, documentation portals, dashboards, and web applications load correctly inside the viewer.
Some websites block iframe embedding via their own HTTP headers (X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy). If a site refuses to load in the viewer, use the open in new tab button to view it in a full browser window instead.
Each Split Pages favorite stores a complete layout: a name, a main (model) page, and an ordered list of additional pages. All favorites are saved securely to your account so they are available on any device you sign into.
Modern workflows demand more than one window at a time. Whether you are a student watching lecture videos while taking notes, a developer following a coding tutorial next to documentation, a fitness enthusiast queuing up workout videos back to back, or a news reader monitoring multiple live streams simultaneously, switching between browser tabs constantly breaks focus and costs time.
Split Pages solves this by bringing a true split-screen browser experience directly into your app. No external extensions required. No complicated window management. Just paste your YouTube links and website URLs, save the layout as a favorite, and your personal multi-screen video and web viewer is ready every time you open it.
Compared to browser picture-in-picture or manual window snapping, Split Pages gives you a persistent, organized, named collection of pages that you can return to anytime — making it the ideal tool for anyone who regularly works with multiple YouTube videos, web apps, or reference sites open at once.
